Hedge funds are increasingly an important players in today’s economies. One of the most important reason of development of hedge funds is not to be under control. Hedge funds take risk, and provide capital to eliminate market shocks. In this regard, hedge funds provide a liquid market by undertaking the supplemental role in market place. Hedge funds provide an adjustment for the markets and a protection against risks in financial institutions. They move a high capital, and have increasingly been the pivotal of speculative attacks. Many people have heard of hedge funds but few are clear about what they are or what they do. This book explains the role and development of hedge funds in global financial markets in order to understand the nature of hedge funds.
